Yip

How do we sit with our loved ones at the end of life? Yip is a gibberish word my mother and I used to say to each other when she was alive. It has now also become the name of the stool you see before you. This stool is the current redesign of one that I designed a year ago, brought to a tradeshow, but decided to leave at home when visiting my mother at the end of her life. It is the embodiment of my love for my mother and my hope for an expanded definition of what end of life care can include.
